Nativity scene

A wooden nativity scene by Halouzka with 100s of figures traditionally adorns Dominican Square. It is hand-carved and among the biggest of its kind in the world. Together with the backdrop of the New Town Hall, it is a coveted place for Christmas photos and very popular with kids. The figures are life-sized and so, thanks to carver Jiří Halouzka, you can enjoy your favourite Christmas drink with Mary, Joseph, or even a camel.

*On Saturday 2 December, Mr Halouzka will be carving and invites anyone interested to a workshop.
