Brno band The Shookies was formed in a café in Vysoké Mýto, where a group of people with the same musical sensibility and the same desire to create together met. They were mainly inspired by the songwriting tradition of foreign folk-rock and acoustic-rock and gradually worked their way up from busking in the park to the club and festival scene.
