Thanks to its calm atmosphere, this square is the clear choice if you’re heading to Brno Christmas with your kids or grandkids. It’s dominated by the large wooden nativity scene by Halouzka. One of the largest hand-carved nativity scenes in Central Europe includes 100 figures and with the background of the New Town Hall and Church of St Michael creates a truly breathtaking view.

The atmosphere is completed by a large carved Christmas star and chamber music concerts from Thursday to Sunday on a small stage. Of course, there are also refreshments, though everything here is on a small scale, so you’ll find 8 stands.
