What you are, we will be too (2024) / Hynek Skoták

Hynek Skoták was inspired by an easily overlooked alleyway that leads to the Capuchin Crypt just a short walk from the bustling Zelný trg. In the 17th and 18th centuries, it was used to bury the brothers and benefactors of the order, which still resides in the adjacent monastery. Symbolically, it points to the fact that the alley connects the busy world of the living with that in which our ancestors rested. As a symbol that represents this transition in a simple, legible way, Skoták chose a curve depicting the intensity of the human heartbeat.
