Church of St. James the Greater (Elder)

The Church of St. James in Brno is one of the most valuable monuments of late Gothic architecture in the Czech Republic. In addition to its historical aspect, it is also worth visiting for its innovative modern experience - in 2024, the monumental four-storey trusses were opened to the public with an audiovisual light show about the history of Brno and the church.

If you visit during the Advent weekends, you can take an interactive guided tour or be present at the lighting of the Advent candle on the modern wreath every Saturday of Advent at 6:30 pm.
