Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross

The church in the typical Capuchin style, in the spirit of simplicity, has stood on its site since the middle of the 17th century. The ideal of poverty is also commemorated by the mosaic of St. Francis on the façade of the church. Inside the church, the altarpiece by the German painter Joachim von Sandrart is worth noting.

The crypt under the church served as a burial place for the monks, nobility and benefactors of the order, and the famous Baron von Trenck can also be found here. The crypt, in which it is possible to see mummified human remains in the air, is open to the public.
