Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul

An unmissable landmark is the hill called Petrov.

The sacral history of this place dates back to the 11th-12th century, when a Romanesque chapel was built on Petrov.

The bells on the local towers ring at noon at 11 o'clock, thus recalling the legend of the ruse used by General Raduit de Souches during the siege of Brno by Swedish troops. According to the legend, General Torstenson declared that if the city was not captured before the noon bells rang, he would end the siege. So de Souches had the noon bell rung an hour earlier.
