Don't be afraid to get lost in the...magical forest!
From 27 November to 23 December, a rest area will be set up in the courtyard of the New Town Hall, especially for (grand)parents with children. TIC BRNO, in cooperation with the French artist Aude Martin and the artistic carver Filip Bednar, have prepared a magical forest, a resting place with natural motifs for children. At any time of the day you can wander in, sit down, relax and drink your tea or mulled wine in peace. Children will find, for example, a bird's nest, a ball track, wooden animals, a maze or a shadow theatre in the interestingly lit courtyard among the trees.
If you feel cold, you can head to the nearby Decisions under the New Town Hall, where children will have an extended program:
9 and 16 December
Christmas shadow workshop for children and adults - with the Líšeň Theatre you will make puppets that will become part of a jointly created shadow nativity scene.
Every Wednesday
Christmas storytelling - fairytale stories with storyteller Dominika Šindelka from Storytelling CZ.
Every Advent weekend
Tours of the historic cellar with creative workshops - Young visitors will take home Christmas decorations, tree ornaments and other handmade products.
